At SameKind, we bring senior professionals together for real connection—over food, deep conversation, and shared values. Our dinners and digital spaces are designed to be safe, thoughtful, and inclusive for everyone.

We believe in authenticity over networking, and in kindness without pretense. To protect the warmth and trust that makes SameKind special, we ask all members to follow a few key guidelines, both online and in person.

Violations of these guidelines may lead to warnings, suspensions, or bans. If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please report it here. We review all reports using a mix of human oversight and automated moderation tools.

Profile Guidelines

  • Age: 21+ only. We may request ID verification to confirm.

  • Photo: Use a clear, recent photo of yourself—no avatars, logos, or heavy filters.

  • Name: Please use your real first and last name. Nicknames are okay in parentheses.

  • Contact Info: A valid phone number and email are required to RSVP and receive dinner details.

Conduct & Content Guidelines

We expect everyone to behave with maturity, respect, and empathy.

No Hate, Harassment, or Harm

We have zero tolerance for:

  • Discrimination or hate speech based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or age.

  • Bullying, intimidation, or targeted insults—online or at events.

  • Sharing graphic, violent, or sexually explicit content.

  • Stalking, threats, or any form of harassment before, during, or after an event.

Example: Making demeaning comments about someone’s background or interrupting others during dinner to dominate conversation is not acceptable.

No Sexual Harassment or Misconduct

SameKind is not a dating service. Respect personal boundaries at all times. This includes:

  • Unwelcome flirting or comments.

  • Sharing inappropriate images or jokes.

  • Following or messaging attendees obsessively post-event.

Example: Sending flirtatious DMs or sexual innuendos after an event violates our values of safety and respect.

No Selling or Scamming

SameKind is for shared experiences, not sales pitches.

  • Don’t use events to promote your business, collect leads, or pitch services.

  • No investment schemes, product pushing, or spammy behavior.

Example: Turning a dinner into a sales call or handing out promo flyers will lead to removal.

No Dangerous Content

  • No promotion of extremist ideologies or groups.

  • No drug use, distribution, or discussion of illegal substances at events.

  • No impersonation, misinformation, or conspiracy spreading.

Event Behavior

Attendance

  • Show up if you RSVP. No-shows for 2+ events = pause or permanent ban.

  • Cancel at least 24 hours in advance so others can take your spot.

  • Don’t bring a +1 unless it’s a pre-approved group event.

No Double Bookings

  • Booking the same venue through multiple services to stack rewards or promotions is not allowed.

Phones Down

  • Dinners are sacred. Try to be present. No filming, pitching, or excessive texting during events.

Inactive Accounts

Accounts inactive for 12 months may be removed to keep the community fresh and engaged.

Reporting & Enforcement

  • We take every report seriously. You can report violations here.

  • Repercussions include content removal, event bans, or full account deactivation.

  • We reserve the right to act without notice to preserve community safety and vibes.

Our Ask

Be kind. Be curious. Be yourself.

SameKind exists because of the warmth and generosity of people like you.

Let’s keep it that way.
